Ross Williams was born in 1988 in Bristol, England. Through extensive research and lengthy projects, his practice draws inspiration from the feeling of a place juxtaposed with hints of social anthropology in order to gain some understanding of identity.
In 2013 one of his images was selected for the Portrait Salon exhibition and publication, a form of Salon des Refusés for rejected entries to the prestigious Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize
Ross is currently studying in his final year of BA (hons) Photography at the University of the West of England. In February 2014 he will embark on a month long trip to Berlin to produce a final body of work for his undergraduate degree.
Following the Mauerweg trail — the scarred strip of land that encircles the city in which the Berlin wall once stood — we get an unusual view of Berlin.
