Ross Williams was born in 1988 in Bristol, England. Through extensive research and lengthy projects, his practice draws inspiration from the feeling of a place juxtaposed with hints of social anthropology in order to gain some understanding of identity.
In 2013 one of his images was selected for the Portrait Salon exhibition and publication, a form of Salon des Refusés for rejected entries to the prestigious Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize
Ross is recently gain a First Class BA (Hons) Photography at the University of the West of England. In February 2014 he embarked on a month long trip to Berlin to produce a final body of work for his undergraduate degree.
