Sam Sweezy is an architectural photographer whose work focuses on the historical built landscape as it affects contemporary land use and its visuality. Often working as part of a scholarly team, his projects include the book “Armenian Folk Arts, Culture, and Identity”, the book and exhibition “Garden Cities of the Panama Canal” and an ongoing study of how issues of war and memory are manifested in the contemporary landscape and architecture of Vietnam.
