Sarah Florence Lord is an English-born photographer based in America, where she finds inspiration in the diversity of landscapes, people, and experiences surrounding her. Through her work she explores themes of femininity and surrealism, looking to obscure and subvert traditional narratives to examine internal spaces beyond our immediate realities. By using a variety of methods and in-camera techniques she succeeds in distorting the gaze of the viewer, producing images that feel simultaneously voyeuristic and invitingly intimate.
