I have a postgraduate diploma in photojournalism but cut my teeth assisting commercial photographers in London as I learnt my craft. My training gave me one great asset though and that was to see beyond the picture and to look for the story. So although most of my work is now environmental and focussed especially on plants, I still try to tell a story or convey a feeling through a single image.
