Sarah Grethe (born 1997) is a photographer based in Hamburg, Germany. She studied photography, communication design and graphic arts in Hamburg and Budapest.
The focus of her work is on the dependence of the past versus the present in the context of her personal environment and domestic space. She is particularly concerned with the perception of change and the correlation between time and memory.
She won the Vonovia Award for Best Young Talent and was a Paris Photo Carte Blanche finalist. Among others she exhibited at the Somerset House London, Rotterdam Photo Festival, Sprengel Museum Hannover and Willy-Brandt-Haus Berlin.
