Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Sean Starke is an emerging lens-based artist and academic. Starke's work has been published nationally in Canada, and internationally in the United States, England, Germany, and France. Starke holds a Masters degree from the University of Oxford, and has taught classes in visual modernism, cinema, and literature at Christ Church, Oxford and the University of Toronto.
