Serena De Sanctis is an Italian documentary photographer. She moved to Barcelona in 2003 where she studied photography in IEFC. Since the last two years she based in India covering stories related to women, homelessness and environmental issues. Her works have been published in The New York Times, CNN, Washington Post, Time, El Mundo, El Pais, El Universal. She has exhibited her work internationally and this year one of her picture was the first prize in Science and Nature History category of the Picture of the year 2015.
