Shannon Cavarocchi (b. 1997) is a photographer from Oahu, Hawaii currently residing in Noosa, Australia. Spending most of her time around rural Australia and traveling abroad, photography has allowed her to connect with herself and others. Shannon is a self taught photographer, having gathered knowledge through an array of experiences within the photography realm. Recently she has been exploring the notions of human connection to animals, land, and memory, often looking inward to help express the deeper relationship she has to her work. Shannon’s motivations for documenting her surroundings are ever changing, but with a consistent ability to capture emotional depth while expressing empathy for her subjects.
