When my children were diagnosed in 2013, my outlook on life changed. I realized life is short, and you must make the most of every moment. I've always loved photography, and decided to take my first photography class in 2013. I decided to start documenting my children in early 2016 as a unique way of raising awareness of Ataxia Telangiectasia. It is a rare disease, there are only about 500 reported cases in the US and 1000 across the world. My hope is to travel the country to meet and photograph as many A-T children as possible.
