Born in Paris in 1975, Sonia graduated from ENSAA Duperré in 1995 and continued her training at Central Saint Martin. Photography is an integral part of her research work, both iconographic and formal. In 2009, she started to work as a visual photographer. Sonia is constantly looking for a way of writing that combines textiles and photography. She studies tapestry and creates transfers using light-sensitive products. Her creations combine photography, graphic design and textiles. Since 2016, she regularly exhibits in France and abroad. In 2022, she won the 2nd Discovery Award at the Festival Encontros Da Imagem in Braga (Portugal).
