Born in 1976, Sophie Alyz is a professional photographer based in Paris, who primary works in the advertising field. Her personal work focuses on the relationship between Man and his environment. A work she transposes in a dreamlike world, privileging organic techniques, trying to make reality more bearable. She considers the photo as an object you are allowed to play with: alternative processes, painting, ink, personal recipes... Any experiment is good as long as it leads to a "perfectly imperfect" result, to a surprising aesthetic.
