My work focuses on subtle observations of everyday situations, documenting inherent beauty and meaning that might otherwise be missed. In the rapid flow of today’s modern life, we need to stay focused on the thread of action.
With my camera, I enjoy stepping outside of this fast flow of energy. Looking sideways, observing subtle things like coincidental encounters. Capturing and freezing moments to tell a story, show a vision. Observing trivial situations with the unbiased eyes of a stranger who has no other intention but to be present and ready to see a slice of beauty and meaning in everyday’s life.
Having been a lifelong photographer from the heart, it is not that long ago that I started to work as professional photographer. Most of my work now focuses on documentary and fine art work or the crosslink of the two. My work has been exhibited internationally in galleries and shows.
I am based in New York and Zurich.
