About Stefano Bandini

Born in Milan, Italy, 1965. Living in Milan.

In 1998 I participated in the Toscana Photo Workshop with Paolo Pellegrin and Jim Megargree. In 2002 at Castello Sforzesco in Milan I co-exhibited a work about the condition of abandoned children in Romania, which become a book curated by Denis Curti and published by Mazzotta Fotografia. The exhibition then moved to “Fotografia in Puglia”, Bari.
In 2007 I took part in the group exhibition “Pinhole Planet”, at the gallery “Maru Sankaku Shikaku” in Kyoto and at the gallery Engetsu in Tokyo.
In 2008 I took part in the group exhibition “Subarashiki Pinhole syasinkatachi” at the Monbetsu City Museum, in Monbetsu (Hokkaido, Japan).
In 2009 I participated in a group exhibition of pinhole photography at Kyoto Art Centre.
In 2013 I exhibited at Prinz Gallery in Kyoto a work about Osaka’s society contrasts, titled “3400m”.
In 2017 Leica Camera Blog published a work about Japan
