Misinas was born in Athens, Greece, in 1993. He studied photography in a private photography School in Athens and received his BA in 2013. In addition, he attended seminars regarding special lighting effects, professional photographic exhibitions and specialized editing tools.
To get a broader education and enhance his photojournalism skills, Misinas, also, attended a year of print, new media journalism, reporting and video shooting classes and is capable of working in all forms of media with backpacking reporting being one of his favorite choices.
Besides his young age, he has covered most of the breaking news in Greece, since 2014 including but not limited to elections, the migration crisis, riots and fires. Moreover, he has done a lot of work with features regarding demonstrations, effects of the economics crisis, homelessness and refugee transportation through Greece to Central Europe.
Before his career in reporting, Misinas did a lot of work covering extreme sports, fashion and occasionally wedding and christening ceremonies.
Misinas has managed to be the youngest photo-reporter at Eurokinisi, the agency he works for, with his pictures being published in Greece’s most prestigious newspapers and magazines.
