I grew up in a post-industrial town in the Mid-Western region of the United States. My interest in industry, in particular with this series of those surrounding water, arises out of a desire to understand the process of seeing beyond the surface of what is observed, connecting to the subconscious experiences of dreams and what is captured through memory within a photograph.
