Steven Raskin is a photographer and educator based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has been an exhibiting photographer since 1977 and earned an MFA degree in photography from California College of Arts & Crafts in 1991. He began teaching photography in 1983 and has taught at California College of Arts and Crafts, College of Marin, City College of San Francisco, Foothill College, The Academy of Art University, U.C. Berkeley Extension, and the ASUC Art Studio. He began teaching at CCSF in 1992 and was a full-time member of the Photography Department faculty at City College of San Francisco until 2019.
His work includes black and white, pinhole, underwater, alternative processes, digital imaging, iphoneography and drone photography. Primary subject matter are natural and urban landscapes. His work can be viewed at www.stevenraskinphotography.com
