I'm Steve an experienced Freelance Creative based in Sheffield UK and since Covid have become a photographer specialising in miniature pop culture photography utilising and celebrating old school none digital special effects and household items to create cinematic scenes along with the help from pre made figures and miniatures to create convincing scenes. All from the confines of my living room working on a platform no bigger than an A3 sheet of paper with basic lighting and camera. Nothing fancy about my tech or what I do but the passion and effort I put in hopefully shines through. I'd love for more people to be able to enjoy my work I'm from a humble background and have worked really hard through my career.

Statement

Since losing work during COVID I've been working hard creating miniature photographs for people to enjoy on social media. Every single day since 2020 I've posted a brand new photo for people to enjoy. Before 2020 I had no clue how to use a camera and lighting and taught myself from scratch. I put a lot of passion and effort into each and every one of my scenes. They all tell a different story and evoke a feeling. I work very hard to do these shots practically using very little digital work. I want to celebrate hands on creativity and I hope the real elements add value to my photography. My work brings a lot of joy and memories to people online and I'd love for more people to be able to view my work.
