Sundeep Bali is a lens-based artist & commercial photographer.
He has been observing, researching and imaging myriad manifestations of intangible cultural heritage of India.
Bali trained to be an arts-management professional and was accorded a US Fulbright Fellowship in visual-arts before he transitioned to Photography.
His personal projects revolve around his engagement with various communities of India- itinerants, migrants, pastoralists, nomads and pilgrims.
Human-nature interaction, environmental resilience and ecological wisdom are areas that he endeavors to visually interpret.
Sundeep is a Lens-Ambassador for ZEISS, the iconic lens-maker. And an X- Photographer for Fujifilm. He has exhibited widely - in India, US, Netherlands and New Zealand.
He regularly photographs and writes for journals and organizations working towards Sustainability and Food-security in the developing world.
