As a former IT Project Manager I have worked for many corporate companies in New York and the Bay Area. Since retirement I've devoted my time to the arts and several non-profits.
My involvement with photography is recent. As Historian for Altarena Playhouse I became involved in restoring many photographs from the theater archives. Learning Photoshop and other software tools opened my imagination to taking my own images and using them creatively. I got into competition photography at the Alameda Photographic Society, which has continued to help me progress as a photographer.
Exibitions: I have participated in Alameda On Camera in 2012, 2014 and now 2015. I have also exhibited some of my underwater prints at the Alameda Museum exhibit in May, 2014. I will be exhibiting there again with the Alameda Photographic Society show opening this May, 2018. For the opera company I often do publicity photography and graphic design for posters, programs and other marketing materials.
