Suzanne Phoenix is a Melbourne photographer, artist, zine and bookmaker. Photos punctuate her life through portraits, performance, music, the street, and daily life. Suzanne has been exhibiting since 2013, won the Upper Yarra Visage Photographic Portrait prize in 2015 and was a finalist in the National Photographic Portrait Prize (Australia) 2021 and the Martin Kantor Portrait Prize 2021. Suzanne has a particular interest in documenting subcultures from queer communities to unique Australian events.
