My name is Svetlana Averina. I was born in 1987 in Tambov, Russia.
When I was a teenager my grandfather introduced me to the magical world of film photography. Since then my camera has not left my hands.
Later after graduating in Public Relations in 2009, I entered the professional development program of photojournalism and successfully graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2016.
I shoot for my own personal projects, special events, and various Moscow newspapers as a freelance photographer. In the past few years I have done a lot of traveling, so travel photography is where my most recent focus has been.
My favorite part about being a photographer is that it gives me the opportunity to express myself and my feelings, meet amazing people, learn, and be creative.
