Tara Bogart is an artist residing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a teenager she began ‘working’ in her Mother’s darkroom and has nurtured a lifelong passion for photography. A selection of Bogart’s “a modern hair study” was recently acquired by The National Library of France. Her work has been exhibited nationally and published internationally. She had her first solo exhibition in NYC at Hous Projects with representation by Elizabeth Houston in 2013. She has participated in an exhibition juried by Todd Hido (Rayko Gallery, San Francisco)and has exhibited her work at Catherine Edelman Gallery. She is an educator at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design.
