We are an English and French artist couple who live in the United States. In 2013 we began work on a photo project for the Rauma Merimuseo in Rauma, Finland, in conjunction with the Rauma Artist-in-Residence Program.
Majestic Monotony explores what it means to be a sailor in the 21st century in the northern seas. Our submission to Lensculture is a vignette from this larger project.
The exhibition at the Rauma Merimuseo will travel to the Forum Marinum in Turku in 2015.
