Terra King is a multimedia artist and musician born and raised in California. After traveling the world extensively at a young age, Terra became motivated by film photography as a means to encapsulate the strange, fantastic, grotesque, and mundane scenes of daily life. She has a broad focus, ranging from commissioned portraiture work to landscapes to street photography.
Graduating with a multidisciplinary BA from UC Berkeley in “Health, Technology, and Modernity” and a minor in Portuguese, she is especially curious about the interrelationships between nature and humanity. Current themes in her work include self-perception and identification, femininity, trash and pollution, unadulterated landscapes, botany, and medicine.
