I live and work in San Francisco. Born and raised in the South Bay, I received my MFA from San Jose State University after working for several years in the Silicon Valley as an equipment engineer for various computer companies.
For 20 years I have been painting and photographing.
While my photos and paintings are different, they are related as they are typically derived from an urban landscape, and the man-made world. Within my photographs I explore the interplay of form, color, pattern, and texture; while usually isolating the significant details. As with my paintings, I try to find beauty in the often-overlooked.
