I was born in Vietnam but my family immigrated to the United States 6 years ago. I study the sciences- Mathematics and Computer Science. However, photography is a big part of my life. It's not just a hobby but it is a way for me to find meaning and beauty in ordinary subjects. It is an intimate kind of connection to my surroundings. Whenever I look through the camera's view finder, I'm more connected and also more exposed to my surroundings. It helps me appreciate what our eyes can see and cannot see. What we can't see with our own eyes could be concisely conveyed through pictures.
