I’m an independent photographer from Brazil. I’m a cofounder of one the largest media collectives in my country — NINJA, which stands for Independent Narratives, Journalism and Action. We got a lot of international attention during the 2014 World Cup following our coverage of protests against bus fare hikes in 2013 in Brazil. I’m passionate about giving visibility to untold, human stories through photography and documentaries. I also regularly give media workshops to youth groups aiming at empowering them to tell their own stories. Right now I work as a freelance and already did stories
for The New York Times, AJ+ and The Intercept.
