Tomáš Halász (*1984) is a photojournalist from Slovakia who is specialized on photography for non-profit organizations (NGO's). He worked for a number of media outlets, including the Czech press Agency (ČTK), the daily Pravda and the News Agency of the Slovak Republic (TASR) covering various topics from high politics to cultural events. He was multiple times awarded with various Slovak and Czech press photo awards.
He co-founded and is chairman of Association of Slovak visual journalists.
In 2010 he became a freelancer. Since 2013 he is co-founder and photoeditor at non-profit long-form online magazine MONO.sk .
