Hunor Tóth (b.2000) is a visual artist from Romania currently residing in Hungary. He graduated from Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in Film, Photography and Media. At this moment Hunor is currently a student of the Photography MA programme at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest.
In his artistic practice he constantly focuses on rural life and its various aspects. He is interested in exploring and documenting rural life through photography, examining how rural communities are redefining, adapting and changing in the face of contemporary challenges such as urbanisation, modernisation and globalisation.
His work combines staged and documentary photography. This combination is a defining element of his artistic practice.
