About Valentina Ricci

Born in Cesena (Italy), she has lived and worked in Spain since 2008. She approaches analog photography in Italy, developing black and white material in a studio in Perugia, the city where she studied Communication Sciences.
In 2008 she moved to Seville, and studied digital photography at the Cobertura Photo school of photography. She collaborated with the following production companies: Global Music 360° and Spyro Music; where she portrayed the Live the Roof artists and also at concerts in different venues and National festivals.
In collaboration with other music photographers, she creates the Photomusic Project; an itinerant exhibition that travels through some venues in Andalusia, including the Caja Inmaculada CAI venue, in Puerto de Santa Maria, as part of the Deezer Monkey Week 2013 Festival programme.
At the same time, she begins to develop her own projects.
In 2016 she moved to Madrid. In Madrid, she continues her training with a Master in Lighting at La Maquina School (2018-2019). With her series "Are we all Adam and Eve?" she receives an Honourable Mention in the Non-Professional category "Deep Perspective" of the "IPA Awards" 2021.
In 2021, after completing the Diploma "Positioning of Emerging Photography", he joins the international collective "Diálogos Emergentes" and exhibits with them part of the series "Are we all Adam and Eve?” The first exhibition opens in March 2022 at the "Kaffee Kunst Berlin" and a second one in September at the Museo del Ferrocarril Jesús Garcia Corona, both in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. In February 2023, she participates in the Photography Festival "Enfoque 2023", which opens in the Municipal Gallery of Santiago Querétaro, Mexico.
