// EXPRESSIVE IMPRESSIONS FORM THE ESSENCE OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ART
Vanda Lehel (V A N D E E) is a German photo artist based in Hamburg, Germany, with a professional IT background – Graduation (Dipl.-Ing.) in Computer Science Engineering from the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), Germany, 2002; Doctoral degree (Dr. rer. nat.) in Computer Science from the Faculty of Informatics of the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany, 2007.
Her first interest in photography - having been influenced by her grandfather's work – arose already in high school where she gained experience in black and white SLR photography projects including darkroom processing in her art courses, moving on to digital photography some 20 years ago.
Since then, she always likes carrying her camera around and seeking out fascinating topics to capture. Her work in this context is especially dedicated to high-contrast impressions and abstractions in street life as well as modern, contemporary architecture and minimalistic silhouettes and forms. Ever curious about new trends in digital photography, particularly lately she is applying AI technologies to extend artistic expression and creativity in her photographic work to further areas like digital fashion and portrait art.

// From 20th September 2024 to 21th October 2024, 63 of her works in the fields of photography and AI photo art were shown online as part of a solo exhibition in the *****contrasted gallery artist group of the flickr photo community.
