After studying Anthropological Sciences at the University of Bologna, I obtained a B/W Fine Art certificate from the Fondazione Studio Marangoni | Centro di fotografia contemporanea in Florence and graduated from the Istituto Italiano di Fotografia in Milan. My photographic research path begins as self-taught by the origins of the medium, that is the black and white analogue of the camera obscura, thanks to which I discovered a magical world that I feel it represents myself thoroughly. My stylistic code consists in the balance between an empathic approach with subjects forced to the margins of life and a conceptual representation of their psychic worlds, in the desire to create an osmosis between me, portrait subject and audience. Recently my work has opened up toward a metaphysical mise-en-scène of the feminine being, alternating the interpretation of the subjective intimacy with the representation of more ontological conditions.
