My name is Viktoryia Vinnikava. I am a self-taught photographer, born and raised in Belarus. I developed interest for photography in my childhood fascinated by the mystery of dark room and inspired by family photographs taken by my father. My artistic vision was formed while living in United Arab Emirates (2002-2014), and I have developed my style during this period of time.
I am enjoying traveling around the world (so far have been to 26 countries) and experimenting with colors, textures, contrasts, selective focusing, slow shutter speed, unique angles, interesting lighting conditions and artistic approach in post-processing my photographs. I love to tell stories through my art and awaken different feelings, emotions, vision.
I am a several awards winner in Middle Eastern Photography competitions with latest and biggest so far achievement 1st place in 3rd annual 'Spaces of Light' Photography Competition in Category 'Architectural Beauty of the Emirates Palace'.
My photography was featured in several magazines, online publications, calendars, coffee table books.
I am a member of Wednesday Group Photographers International (WGPI), Abu Dhabi International Photographic Society (ADIPS) and holding A FIAP distinction from The International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP).
