Maybe it's like a cliche, but I love photography. I like to let my audience know more about me and what I see. By looking at my own pictures, I figure out who I was, who I am, and who I want to be. I feel like I am growing together with photography.
I had been prescribed with high level of short-sightedness since I was 5 years old. In 2006, I had a surgery on my retina of both eyes when I lost 80% of my vision. It took me several years to fully recover. It was a terrible moment, and everything I saw were either blurry or with a black insert.
Then I discovered photography. At first, I started using my mobile phone, and gradually using pocket cameras. I like to picture shadows which remind me of the black insert when I was almost blinded. I also like to picture anything blurry. I like an obscure presentation of objects in my pictures so to allow my audience to go beyond the photography with their own imaginations.
