About VIRIDIANA F

Viridiana is a Mexican photographer based in Mexico City, with studies in arts and design, she also attended EFTI in Madrid where she completed a master in photography. Following her studies, Viridiana was Marie Claire’s Mexico photo editor.

After winning Harper's Bazaar's new talents award in 2016, her career began through fashion and editorials for publications as Vogue, ELLE in the country and working in cities such as Paris, Barcelona, and NY. Her work revolves around fashion and documentary images, building a collection of contemporary, honest and beautiful imagery while mixing digital and analog formats, focusing on the human body, nature, and art as her daily inspirations

Currently, she’s focused on her personal and editorial work, venturing in other formats such as video. Viridiana finds photography way to understand life, to approach different ways to think and a possibility to create.

Viridiana’s personal work consists of establishing an intimate connection with the people that she photographs in a constant search for understanding through their personal relationships, bonds, love and  questioning how they perceive themselves within the body they inhabit.
