Born in Reims, France, May 20 1959
Yves Papageno has been soaked in an artistic environment since his earliest childhood. His mother, a woman of letters and amateur art, offers him his first camera at the age of ten and enrolled at the School of Fine Arts in Reims .
Since then, his view sharpens on people and things which surround him.
“Photography does not betray reality, it opens the doors of unspeakable, offers the possibility of expressing enjoyment, pain and most intimate thoughts. It is game or violence, elegance or tearing. A universal language, as an evidence.”
