I started photography with film when I was 12 but never really developed my enthusiasm past trying to recreate postcards when I travelled.
I am now working on becoming a professional travel photographer to compliment my work as a tour guide.
When digital came along I didn't study enough about the camera and failed at buying my first. This put me off for a long time but four years ago I invested in an upgrade to permit me to get good photos on safari.
Since then I have been studying again and thanks to YouTube, Lynda.com and other sites have brought my knowledge of photography into the digital age.
To date my photography has been a bit hit and miss but recently I have concentrated on creating cohesive shoots from the regions I travel to.
