My passion is to understand the world and society in an experiential way, with all its complexities and variety. I am a faithful believer that the most interesting nuances of reality are found in everyday life and in the periphery of action. I also think art’s higher purpose is to transform society and that its potential is reached through collaborative work.
I am a Colombian documentary photographer since 2015. I feel a visceral attraction towards color and I use it as a vehicle to transmit sensations. I aim for my work to be simple and at the same time engaging and spontaneous. I believe that empathy is essential to achieve intimacy and honesty in photos.
In 2015 I did my photography internship in Semana Magazine, an important news outlet in Colombia. That same year I started my commercial photography and event photography company.
