I have been a professional photographer since 1984 when I started to work as a 15 years-old photographer in Journal do Brasil, then a major Brazilian National Newspaper. I moved to London when I was 20 and worked as a correspondent, then stringer for AP before joining Reuters and their newly formed UK based photographic team. I worked with them 3 years before going to The Times where I worked for some 14 years. Now I do some occasional work for the Daily Telegraph, agencies, personal projects and different commissions.
