Andy Wiener was born in Scotland, a visual artist who has worked in the staged photography genre for 35 years. He studied photography and achieved an MA at the Royal College of Art in London in the mid-1980s.
His work is in several museum collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum, Deutsche Leasing, and the Scottish National Portrait Gallery.
His work was published and exhibited widely, including a solo exhibition at Street Level Photoworks in 2012 in Glasgow and he contributed to a group show at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London in 2013.
He has two monographs published by the well-known UK art publisher, Dewi Lewis: Cautionary Tales in 1990 and Visitation Scenes in 2020.
