About Asha Thadani

Asha Thadani is a photographic artist based in Bangalore, India. Asha began making pictures in 1996.
Largely self taught, her style consists of vivid and energetic imagery capturing remote cultures, antiquated traditions and contemporary life.
Asha has mostly sought inspiration from India to document and narrate stories that at their core spirit have universal relevance.

Asha’s work has been published in magazines, books, calendars and advertising projects. Her work has been featured in newspapers like Times of India, Indian Express, Deccan Herald, The Hindu and India Today.

Asha Thadani has exhibited her work at the Albert Kahn Museum,Paris.
Her work has been exhibited and auctioned at Christies, Paris.
Displayed at Rangoli Metro Art Center, Bangalore.
Nominated for the Henri Cartier Bresson Award 2015.
