My interest in art began at age six with my first painting class but it was not until years later in a class at the International Center of Photography in New York City that I realized that the most satisfying way for me to express myself visually was with a camera. After raising a family and working as an educator, I have devoted myself full time to my photography for the past thirty years. My work has been exhibited, sold and published and I have won awards but the real pleasure for me is still in exploring the places I love and making photographs.
