About Barbara Houghton

Fine art photographer working in installation, video, photos and artist's books. Personal narrative work often asks who we are and how we got to be who we are. Other personal narratives follow obsessions and observations. Documentary work from India about women helping women was done during a directed sabbatical project. Taught at Metropolitan State University Denver 1974-1992 and Northern Kentucky University 1992 to 2015. Now I am a working artist in my retirement.
