Ben Milpas graduated with a Professional Bachelor in Audiovisual Techniques Photography at Sint Lucas in Antwerp, Belgium. In 2010 he participated in the internship programme of the international recognized photo agency NOOR images, headquartered in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
In 2011 he joins MSF (Médecins Sans Frontières), a International humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural or man-made disasters. Over the years he has been working with MSF in countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Chad, Central African Republic (CAR), Niger, Malawi, Yemen, Syria, Iraq/Kurdistan, Turkey, Jordan, Bangladesh, Haiti, Pakistan, Lebanon and Armenia (Nagorno-Karabakh region).
In 2017 he attended the International Diploma Program on Documentary Photography organised through a collaboration of The Danish School of Media and Journalism, NOOR images and World Press Photo.
