Clearly, the subject matter of Corbijn's work are the entertainment stars whose faces fill our heads daily. While many of the images in this book--such as the section exclusively on portraits of Bono from throughout his career--are familiar, the vast majority of these portraits are new and fresh; the celebrities seem to offer a side to themselves not readily seen, and the work is strong for that particular quality.
