Araki: Tokyo Novelle

Published as a showpiece for the Araki exhibit at Germany's Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg, Tokyo Novelle is a fine impression of the artist's on going a-moral portait of Tokyo. This time, however, the Godzilla myth figures prominently, with lizards and plastic figurines showing up in the midst of Araki's familiar city scapes and bound, confrontational nudes.
