Elmar Mauch - The Residents (German Edition)

The starting point for Elmar Mauch’s book were private photographs that had been found and collected – each one made at some time or another for personal reasons, be it for the sake of remembering, celebration, portrayal, or as evidence. Mauch has constructed sequences of images and makes associations, and as such, establishes new pictorial spaces in which intuitive insights gained by questioning the pictures become apparent. Part history, part mystery, these images come packaged in a Japanese bound edition.
