A rundown giant skatepark in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, provided the inspiration for this book of photographs and accompanying DVD which takes the reader through the experience of 11 skateboarders who found themselves face to face with the ruins of the park and the capitol of Mongolia. The film ‘Mongolian Tyres' complements the photographs while showing a broader view of life in Mongolia and features both traditional and contemporary music.
