Neumeister’s photographs are concerned with capturing a perplexing civil imagery, filled with urban construction sites and architectural details, while documenting the place of the individual within society and the redundancy of nature within the urban environment. At first glance the seemingly casual images leave a barren and unfruitful impression of everyday situations, however closer examination repeatedly reveals events that question value systems and social patterns of behaviour.
