Stefan Canham: Mobile Squatters

Situated on disused urban plots of land throughout Germany, the ‘Bauwagen' in the form of trailers which accommodate workers on building sites, caravans, circus wagons and camper busses are a form of anarchic and cheap living. Canham's photographs document both the rich and varied interiors of the Bauwagens and their harsh and sometimes makeshift exteriors.
